Custom Ketubah

“We really wanted a unique and personalized kesubah, but we didn’t have the budget or time to invest in it, and we had heard too many horror stories about couples who were not able to use the ketuba’s they commissioned due to halachik mistakes. When we heard about Rayzel Broyde’s digital-art kesubahs, we knew we had found a perfect solution. And we are beyond thrilled with how it came out!”

Y&YH

“We really wanted a special Ktuba for our daughters wedding, when we saw the art work, we really liked it!
In reality it looks even better than in pictures.
Three weeks later we married off our son, and sure enough, we ordered another Ktuba!
Rayzel works with you closely and makes sure all the details are exact (including all the halachic aspects!).
We strongly recommend!”

HOW IT WORKS

1. Choose Your design

Browse our selection of ketubas to find one that you’ll love and cherish forever.

2. Submit Your Details

We’ll send you a form to fill out asking for information including you and your future spouse’s Hebrew names, the date of your wedding ceremony, and more.

3. Design & Check

We design your ketuba and have a rabbi proficient in the laws of ketuba do a very thorough check on a digital copy.

4. Your Turn

We’ll send you the digital ketuba for you – and the officiating rabbi of your wedding – to approve or to submit any changes.

5. Print

When everyone is happy and we’ve double and triple checked your ketuba, we send the digital copy to print!

6. Mazal Tov!

The glass is broken under the chuppah – you are finally married with the ketuba of your dreams!

Custom Ketubas, Dolev Print’s premier product, was created to fill a gaping void.

Handwritten ketubas are gorgeous and truly one of a kind.

The problem: The laws of ketubas are extremely intricate and complex requiring an expert’s eye to get the language exactly right for each couple. Too often mistakes that are difficult, if not impossible, to fix are found while already under the chuppah!

This problem is so common that officiating rabbis usually bring a backup ($5 generic) ketuba with them to enable the wedding ceremony to go on… but this offers little consolidation to the couple who has already invested and dreamed of using their expensive handmade ketuba!

→ Enter Custom Ketubas providing gorgeous customized ketubas with an organized process and under the rabbinical guidance of Rabbi Yaacov Haber of Ramat Beit Shemesh, Israel – leaving no room for mistakes.

FAQ

We are sefardi. Can you write sefaradi ketubot?

Yes, we write ketubas in any and every nusach.

Can I have my rabbi check my ketuba?

Yes, please do! We encourage you to show the digital copy to your officiating rabbi so they can let you/us know about any changes before the ketuba goes to print. Nevertheless, if impossible, don’t worry; we have Rabbi Yaacov Haber of Ramat Beit Shemesh, Israel review each and every ketuba for mistakes.

Please note: Once you’ve given your approval (with or without your rav’s consent) and the ketuba is printed, we cannot make any changes. If you’ll need a new ketuba written up, we’ll have to charge the price of another ketuba. (But don’t worry, this has never actually happened. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to check and correct along the way).

I’ve always wanted to hang my ketuba on the wall. Are your ketubas suitable for framing?

Yes! They are ready to be framed.

What types of materials are the ketubot made out of? Are they long lasting?

Our ketubas are printed on high-quality and long lasting moldeliani paper. The size is A3, 11 ¾” x 16 ½. Custom sizing is available.

Do you have experience with second marriages or ketubas for other unique circumstances?

Yes, we have experience with all.

Can I have a matching ten’aim made to match my ketuba?

Absolutely! Contact us for pricing.

I see that the names are written in a gold foil. Is this halachically OK?

Yes, this has been approved by Rav Aharon Feldman of Ner Yisrael and by Rabbi Yaacov Haber of Ramat Beit Shemesh, Israel. There is an option to print the names without foil for an additional fee.
